With Apple TV securing exclusive broadcasting rights to Formula 1 in the United States, they have partnered with IMAX to showcase select races on the big screen. The collaboration will commence with the Miami Grand Prix on 3 May, offering a watch party-style event that includes pre-race build-up, uninterrupted race coverage, and post-race celebrations.
To secure tickets for the 2026 Miami Grand Prix at IMAX, interested viewers can purchase them for around $30 through the IMAX website. The collaboration between Apple TV and IMAX will allow fans to watch five races from the 2026 season at IMAX locations across America. These races include the Miami Grand Prix, Monaco Grand Prix, British Grand Prix, Italian Grand Prix, and United States Grand Prix.
Apple’s vice president of music, sports, and Beats, Oliver Schusser, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating that by bringing F1 to IMAX theaters nationwide, they are providing a more immersive way for fans to experience the sport. Currently, Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli leads the drivers’ standings going into the Miami Grand Prix, with his teammate George Russell trailing behind in second place.
