Larson Enjoys the Changes in Track Conditions
Kyle Larson, who finished fifth in the race, expressed his enjoyment in dealing with the changing track conditions. According to Larson, managing tire temperatures and seeking dry patches were critical when transitioning from wet to slick conditions.
After securing a stage win, Larson felt that the remainder of the race felt like a typical event in Loudon, despite needing minor improvements in handling. He remains optimistic about his performance and aims to secure consistent finishes as he prepares for the championship run.

Although Larson has not won a Cup Series race this year, his consistent finishes have kept him in contention for the championship. With his ninth top-five finish of the season, Larson’s determination and strong performance suggest a victory may be on the horizon.
Looking ahead to the Chase, Larson’s goal is to capitalize on a potential hot streak and defend his title. A successful championship defense would make him only the 10th driver in NASCAR history to achieve back-to-back championships, highlighting his skill and competitive drive.
