Factory BMW driver Robin Frijns shared his expectation on Max Verstappen possibly making a switch to the World Endurance Championship in the future, showing interest in the Hypercar category. Frijns recently competed in the Nurburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS) alongside Marco Wittmann and Phillip Eng, winning the race in a BMW M4 GT3 Evo. Verstappen, a Formula 1 champion, will also be racing at the Nurburgring 24 Hours this year, participating in GT3 races. Frijns acknowledged Verstappen’s growing interest in sportscar racing, and believes Verstappen’s involvement could bring a significant boost to endurance racing, particularly in the World Endurance Championship.
