Jakarta – Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, Petr Fiala, through his personal account, @P_Fiala, congratulated the candidate number two, Prabowo Subianto, on his victory based on the quick count results.
“Congratulations to H.E. @prabowo Subianto for winning the 2024 Indonesian Presidential Election,” Petr tweeted on Wednesday (14/2).
In his post, Petr also highlighted his visit to the country. He then prayed for a smooth transition of leadership from President Joko Widodo to Prabowo.
In addition, Petr also expressed his readiness to strengthen the relationship between the Czech Republic and Indonesia under Prabowo’s leadership.
“Given my visit to your beautiful country less than a year ago, allow me to pray for a smooth transition and express our readiness to strengthen bilateral relations between our two countries,” Petr wrote.
The Prabowo-Gibran victory according to the quick count can be seen from the constantly updated numbers from several survey agencies and media.
The latest data this morning shows that the average vote count for Prabowo-Gibran is almost reaching 60%. Kompas Research Centre shows a figure of 58.73%; Indonesian Political Indicator 58%; and LSI Denny JA at 58.16%. (SENOPATI)
